OVERVIEW
The startup education platform required an entire brand and visual identity created from scratch. The brief was to create a unique, impactful and eye-catching visual identity with emphasis on imagery and infographics to stand out from its competitors.
A double-meaning thought or speech bubble shape was used to capture ideas, knowledge, thoughtfulness and spreading the word about climate change. This, blended with the carbon hexagon symbol, resulted in a meaningful logo that complements the imagery and graphic style of the supporting designs. Impactful, heavy typography was chosen to reflect a “headline news” style and capture the immediate importance of sustainable education.
The organisation relies heavily on video and infographic content to communicate and educate.
The first-phase web platform is to be launched in summer 2023.

Guidelines.


Colour Palette
& Image Style.
Industrial, smoky greys and purples were chosen to reflect carbon emissions and pollution. The main brand colour, a vibrant yellow-green shade, inspired by a young plant or new shoot, symbolises growth, light, energy and positive new beginnings. Accent colours were created from striking landscapes and wildlife.
High-contrast images of patterns and textures in nature with one focal accent colour form a bold, vibrant image library that ties in with the brand palette. Black and white imagery is also used under bright graphics or typography for added impact.
